How your details are handled

This policy explains how Calvera Depot handles personal data, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

We ask for the minimum an order needs: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address. If you create an account we also store your order history and any addresses you save.

Payment credentials are not collected at all. UPI approval happens in your bank’s app, entirely outside this website.

What we use it for

We use it to:

  • process and pack your order
  • arrange delivery and share tracking updates
  • answer support messages about an order
  • meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law
  • detect and prevent fraudulent orders

Who else sees it

Delivery requires passing your name, address and phone number to the courier, and that is the extent of it. Your bank’s UPI system handles payment. Personal data is never sold, and never shared with advertisers or brokers.

Legal obligation is the only other reason data leaves us.

Cookies and analytics

The only cookies here hold your cart and session. Block them if you prefer — the cart will stop working. No advertising trackers are used.

Your rights

The DPDP Act, 2023 gives you the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything inaccurate
  • ask us to erase data we no longer need for an order or a legal obligation
  • withdraw consent for messages that are not about an order

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Indian tax and consumer law requires, and then deleted. Account data is kept until you ask us to remove it. Support emails are kept while a query is open and for a short period afterwards in case it reopens.

Children

Under-18s are not the audience for this site, and any child’s data we find is deleted.

Expect acknowledgement within one business day and resolution inside thirty days, as the DPDP Act, 2023 requires.

Problems are fixed by replacement or refund under our own policy; manufacturer warranty claims are not something we handle.
